South African President Witnesses YJC New Energy Project Landing in Free State Province!
The site for YJC’s comprehensive high-end new energy manufacturing base project in South Africa has recently been finalized in the Free State Province of South Africa. The project has attracted high-level attention from the South African national government. President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa and MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae, Premier of the Free State Province, jointly attended the project signing ceremony to witness the in-depth cooperation between China and South Africa in the fields of clean energy and advanced manufacturing.

Official Report by the Free State Provincial Government of South Africa
Based on South Africa’s needs for energy transition and industrialization, YJC has defined three core business lines tailored to local market characteristics: energy storage batteries, solar-storage-charging systems, and new energy logistics operating vehicles. Leveraging its industrial and technological strength accumulated in the new energy sector, YJC will deliver end-to-end industrial deployment capabilities to help build a local new energy industrial chain in South Africa.

Upon completion, the project will effectively boost regional employment and improve people’s livelihoods. The deployment of the energy storage battery segment will continuously add new capacity to South Africa’s clean energy supply, help address the local power shortage challenge, and accelerate the transition of the energy structure toward green and low-carbon development.
Upholding the philosophy of localized co-development, YJC regards local talent cultivation as a vital component of sustainable growth. Through systematic technical training, we foster a cohort of local professionals in new energy and high-end manufacturing. By collaborating with local upstream and downstream supporting enterprises for coordinated development, we build a self-sustaining industrial ecosystem.

Signing Ceremony
Against the global wave of green development, YJC continues to push forward its overseas new energy industrial layout. The launch of this South African base marks an important practice for YJC to implement China-Africa green cooperation and export its brand and industrial value. Going forward, YJC will continue to base its efforts on Africa’s local development needs, further deepen industrial synergy and collaboration, and empower South Africa’s energy transformation and high-quality industrial development through green industrial strength.
